Terms of Service
Last updated 2 November 2026
These terms govern your use of Statwell, a combat sports research platform, and of the Statwell Intel subscription.
In short: Statwell publishes statistics and written analyses of UFC matchups; for members, each new analysis opens with Statwell’s Verdict, an evidence-based editorial assessment of the matchup. It is not a betting service. Statwell Intel costs $8.50 a month or $17 every 3 months, plus any tax, renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time. Payments are handled by Paddle, the Merchant of Record for all our orders.
Who we are
Statwell (statwell.io) is a service operated by შპს სტატუელ, a limited liability company (LLC) registered in Georgia under company number 405858852, with its registered address at 10A Aleksandre Kazbegi Ave., Apt. 52, Saburtalo District, Tbilisi 0160, Georgia (“Statwell”, “we”, “us”). When you use Statwell, your agreement is with us.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries relating to payment and handles returns. When you buy a subscription, you buy it from Paddle, which then provides us with the payment so that we provide the service to you. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the purchase itself. Questions about the service go to us at contact@statwell.io.
Accepting these terms
These terms apply to everyone who visits statwell.io, creates an account or subscribes. By creating an account, subscribing or continuing to use Statwell, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Statwell.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and able to enter into a binding contract to buy a subscription.
These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy.
What Statwell provides
Statwell is a software and research platform about combat sports, currently focused on the UFC. For each upcoming card it publishes a page for every confirmed bout, with statistics and written analysis.
Fight Preview (free, with an account)
- A page for every fight on the card
- Tale of the tape, records and recent form
- Key striking and grappling numbers
- Fight news and context
- A short matchup snapshot
Statwell Intel (paid subscription)
Everything in Fight Preview, plus the written analysis of each matchup where one is published:
- Statwell’s Verdict, at the start of each new analysis: which fighter our analysis favors, a qualitative assessment (Slight Edge, Clear Edge or Strong Edge), the reasoning behind it and the strongest counterargument
- Style matchup, category by category
- How the fight could unfold for each fighter
- Context flags such as layoffs, short notice and weight
- Recent trends compared with career numbers
- Tactical notes, labelled by how they are known
- A research summary with open questions, and the evidence behind each statement
How analyses are made
Analyses are researched and drafted with the help of software, including AI tools, from statistics and public sources. Before it is published, every analysis passes automated checks against its evidence and is read and approved by our editorial team; published analyses are marked “Editorially Reviewed”. These checks reduce errors; they are not a guarantee that every statement is correct. We aim to publish an analysis for each confirmed bout before the event. Late changes to a card, cancellations or a lack of reliable information can mean that a bout has no analysis, or that an analysis is updated or withdrawn. The subscription price does not depend on the number of analyses published.
What Statwell is not
Statwell is an information and editorial service. It is not a betting, gambling or tipping service. Statwell does not:
- accept, place, broker or manage bets or wagers of any kind
- publish odds, win probabilities, betting tips or signals, or recommended stakes
- run contests, competitions, fantasy games or anything with prizes
- promise or imply any financial return, or that a fight will end a particular way
- receive money from, or link to, betting operators
Each new Intel analysis opens with Statwell’s Verdict, an evidence-based editorial assessment of the matchup: which fighter our analysis favors, a qualitative assessment of how clearly the evidence separates the two fighters (Slight Edge, Clear Edge or Strong Edge), the reasoning and the strongest counterargument. Where the evidence separates neither fighter, it says so: No clear edge. Each Verdict is reviewed before publication. It is an editorial opinion about a sporting contest, not a number or a probability, not a guarantee of any result and not a recommendation to place a bet.
Some upcoming fight pages show, as context, how each fighter has done in past UFC fights they entered as the favourite, as the underdog or in a close matchup, as reported in the pre-fight prices and coverage published at the time. These are past facts, with their sources kept; they are not Statwell’s Verdict on the coming fight, not odds and not a recommendation.
Nothing on Statwell is betting, financial, investment or other professional advice. How you use the information is your decision and your responsibility.
Your account
You can create an account with an email address and a password, or with your Google account. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us at contact@statwell.io if you think someone else has used your account.
An account is for one person. Sharing an account or reselling access to it is not allowed.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). If you have an active subscription, cancel it first or ask us to, so that you are not charged again.
Plans and prices
- Fight Preview: free, no payment details needed.
- Statwell Intel: $8.50 per month, or $17 every 3 months, in US dollars.
Prices exclude taxes. Paddle calculates any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live and shows the total before you pay. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. There is no free trial.
If we change the price of a plan, we will email subscribers at the address on their account at least 30 days before the new price applies to them. The new price applies from your next renewal after that date, and you can cancel before it does.
Payment and automatic renewal
Payment is taken by Paddle when you subscribe, using the payment method you give at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month, or every 3 months) at the price then in force, and Paddle charges the same payment method, until you cancel.
Paddle sends a receipt for every payment. If a payment fails, Paddle may retry it; if it cannot be collected, access to Statwell Intel may be paused until the payment succeeds or ends when the subscription is cancelled.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason:
- in your account: Account, then Manage billing, which opens Paddle’s customer portal, then cancel the subscription; or
- by email to contact@statwell.io from the address of your account, or through Paddle at paddle.net.
Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep Statwell Intel until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not by itself refund a payment already made; refunds are handled by Paddle, as set out in the Refund Policy.
Refunds
Paddle, the Merchant of Record for all our orders, handles refunds and withdrawals under its own Refund Policy and Buyer Terms, which decide when a payment can be refunded or withdrawn from. These terms add no condition, deadline or exception to them, and your statutory consumer rights always apply. How to ask is in our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Statwell to:
- break any law or regulation, or help someone else do so
- commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate anyone
- infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's
- interfere with the security or operation of the service: no malware, probing, scanning or testing for vulnerabilities, attempts to get around access controls, or overloading the service
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download content or data, or use it to train or feed AI models, without our written permission
- copy, republish, sell or share paid content, or present it as betting tips, picks or signals
- suggest that Statwell is connected to a sports organisation, an athlete or a betting operator
Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, the Statwell service and everything in it that we create: the software, the design, the written analyses, the compilation of data and the presentation. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
While your account is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Statwell for your own non-commercial purposes. You may quote short passages with attribution to Statwell. Any other use needs our written permission.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Third-party names and data
Statwell is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the UFC, TKO Group Holdings, ESPN, any other promotion or media company, any athlete or any betting operator. Their names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the events and people discussed.
Statistics and records come from third-party data providers and public sources; quoted passages are attributed to their source. If you believe something on Statwell infringes your rights, write to contact@statwell.io and we will look at it promptly.
Accuracy and no advice
Combat sports change quickly: injuries, weigh-ins, replacements, cancellations, judging and refereeing. We check our work, but analyses can contain errors or become out of date, and statistics from third parties can be incomplete or wrong. Analyses describe what the evidence shows. Statwell’s Verdict is our editorial assessment of that evidence: it can be wrong, fights often go against the evidence, and nothing in an analysis is a guarantee of any result.
Do not rely on Statwell for betting, financial or any other decision involving money or risk.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Statwell available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. We may pause the service for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
We improve Statwell over time and may change, add or remove features. We will not materially reduce what Statwell Intel includes during a period you have already paid for; if we must, you can cancel, and your consumer rights and Paddle’s refund process apply.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, with notice where reasonable, if:
- you materially breach these terms, or breach them repeatedly or seriously
- a payment is not made
- there is a security risk, fraud or suspected fraud, or abuse of refunds
- we are required to by law
If we close an account without any fault on your part, refunds are handled by Paddle under its Refund Policy, and your statutory consumer rights apply. You can stop using Statwell and close your account at any time.
Disclaimer of warranties
Except as stated in these terms and to the extent the law allows, Statwell is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. This does not affect rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, including any loss connected with betting, wagering or financial decisions.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for Statwell in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at contact@statwell.io: most problems can be solved quickly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will change the date at the top and, for a material change, email subscribers at the address on their account at least 14 days before it applies. Continuing to use Statwell after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel and close your account.
