Included
- UFC bouts since 2001 with complete statistics
Left out
- No contests and overturned results
- Incomplete statistics
Caveats
- Bouts before 2007 were charted later from video; definitions applied backwards.
- The 2020 step in accuracy looks like a charting change; this Pattern is about volume.
How it was checked
- Holds in three-round non-title men's bouts and in 8 of 9 men's divisions.
- Reproduced exactly by an independent re-implementation written from the definition alone (28 Oct 2026).
- Research catalog entry `striking_pace_doubled` (validated).
